Our newest Student of the Month is Johnny Vitale! Johnny is just turning 10 this month (Happy Birthday!). He has progressed very rapidly since starting only 2 1/2 months ago. Our main focus has been learning to read music as well as open chords. He has picked up on reading music and keeping rhythm and shows a lot of finger dexterity for someone his age. Johnny has obviously taken his guitar lessons very seriously because it shows in his playing and understanding of music notation. I am proud of him as are his parents. Johnny wants to get into playing rock music and his inspirations are; Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimmy Page. Congratulation Johnny, keep up the good work habits! Mike Kinney
